SENIOR ENGLISH: British Literature
Course Description: This course combines the study of British literature with written composition. It provides the student with a broad overview from Beowulf through Canterbury Tales and into the 20th century. Essays are primarily persuasive in nature and emphasize a close reading of the literature with critical writing. In addition, the students are required to keep a journal and complete a research paper.
