Russian, Past Tense of Common Verbs

Forming the past tense of verbs in Russian.

With verbs that have the ending (-ть) in the infinitive form, simply remove the (-ть), and add (-л) to the stem for masculine subjects, (-ла) for feminine subjects, (-ло) for neuter subjects, and (-ли) for plural subjects.
