The words listed and defined above are all followed by nouns in the Genitive plural. Remember in your vocabulary listing beginning on page 452 in the Russian Face to Face 1 textbook, nouns are listed in this manner:

Nominative Singular, Genitive Singular; Nominative plural, Genitive plural.

Note that singular and plural are separated by a semi-colon.

Thus, wherever there are 4 endings for a noun in the vocabulary listing, the last one is Genitive plural, and is the one we are using with these special words seen above.

Wherever the parenthetical word (trans.) appears, there is a translation from Russian to English. Wherever it does not appear, the question and the answer are both in Russian.
