Highlight | The entry point, which appears on screen as a dark border around a cell. |
Active cell | The cell that contains the highlight, which is distinguished by a dark border. |
Formula Bar | Appears directly below teh toolbar in the worksheet and displays a formula when the cell of a worksheet contains a calculated value. |
Name box | Located on the far left side of the formula bar, it identifies the active cell. |
Range | A selected group of cells. |
Filling | Copies data into adjacent cell(s). |
Freezing | It will keep row or column titles on the screen no matter where you scroll in the worksheet. |
Protecting | Prevents anyone from making changes to it by accident. |
