Making a noun plural

Rule #1: If a word ends with a vowel, add "s".
Rule #2: If a word ends with a consonant, except "z", add "es".
Rule #3: If a word ends with "z", change "z" to "c" and add "es".
Rule #4: Change the article to match (singular or plural) the noun.
**Exceptions: some days of the week,and compound words whose last half are plural like "paraguas", "parabrisas", -->just change the article; the word stays the same
