Writer's Log Vocabulary Lesson 10

1. navigate- If you navigate something, you find a way to move on, through, or around it.
2. phenomenal- Someone or something that is phenomenal is unusual because it is SO good.
3. sedate- If a person or animal is sedate, they are quiet and don't get excited easily.
4. mandate- If you mandate something, you declare it MUST be done.
5. astute- Someone who is astute is very good at understanding things.
6. superior- If something is superior, it is far better than something else.
7. humanitarian- A humanitarian works to improve the lives of people who are suffering.
8. accolade- If someone is given an accolade, something is done or said about them that shows how much people admire them.
