Vocabulary for The Great Gatsby

The following is a list of words taken directly from the novel, The Great Gatsby. There are a variety of activities so try them all to develop a grasp on the words!
**The matching activity has two different types of matching cards. The vocabulary words are listed on one set of cards while their definitions are listed on the other type of cards. Click on a vocabulary word, then click it's definition to match the words up.
**The flashcards are for your review. There are a pile of cards that you can flip over to help you memorize their definitions. Once you have memorized the definition of a certain word you can choose to remove that card from the pile. This activity takes out the work of creating your own flashcards.
**Concentration is very difficult. Each card is turned face-down. Click on a card to flip it over. You will have a few moments to memorize what is on that card. Then, search for it's match by flipping over the other cards. If you matched correctly, both cards (the word and it's definition) will be marked with a green checkmark. Otherwise, red x's will appear of the cards and they will flip back over. Try to remember what you flip, instead of random guessing. It makes the game easier.
