Point of View Shift
There are three points of view: first person, second person, and third person. First person refers to the narrator being referred to as I or we; second person is you or one (this isn’t used for narration); third person is he, she, it or they. When a passage begins in one point of view and shifts to another, the readers are confused. Point of View Shift : I love to drive my new red Porsche because you receive such envious glances. Correct: I love to drive my new red Porsche because I receive such envious glances. DIRECTIONS: LABEL THE SENTENCES AS EITHER CORRECT OR POINT OF VIEW SHIFT
