syllable patterns VC/CCV and VCC/CV

How to decide where to break the syllable when there are three consonants that are not part of a three consonant blend:

1) constant end syllable -le always takes the consonant that proceeds it to be part of its syllable

2) prefixes are their own syllables

3) keep consonant blends and consonant diagraphs together - NOTE: except in the case of final syllable -le

4) syllable breaks are always between double consonants
