AdonisGod of beauty and desire. Son of Thelas, king of Syria, and his daughter, Myrrha. Died when Artemis sent a wild boar to kill him. Spent one thrd of the year with Aphrodite, Persephone, and whoever else he wanted, but chose to stay with Persephone
HyacinthSpartan prince & lover of Apollo. Died from a discus to the head. Apollo forbade Hades from claiming his soul, and instead turned Hyacinth into a flower.
AtalantaA virgin huntress. Left by her father, then was suckled by a bear, and then raised by hunters. She would marry on the condition that the suitor beat her in a race. A suitor evantually won because of Aphrodite, but forgot to honor the goddess, so Aphrodite cursed them. As a result they made love in Zeus's temple. Zeus responded by turning them into lions.
HippomenesBeats Atalanta in a race using three golden apples from Aphrodite. Forgets to honor Aphrodite for making his marriage possible. Aphrodite caused Hippomenes and his wife to make love in Zeus's temple. Zeus turns them into lions.
