Unit 06 - The Nature of Energy - Mr. Brown's Examples of Trigger Words.

I noticed some of you are still not getting the TRUE point of the trigger words. They ARE NOT short definitions.

THE ARE... CLUES (3 words or less), that help you to explain what pops into your mind when you think about the true meaning of a term.

If you are doing it properly, you should be able to explain verbally how those three words that you to an image in your mind and how that related to what the term actually is...

For example for chemical energy, I see a battery in my head everytime. My explanation from my head... "A battery contains chemicals that when assembled in a certain way causes electricity (moving electrons) to flow. The chemicals eventually run down , so chemical energy needs to either be recharged or the chemicals replaced periodically. Another way of storing chemical energy is in fuel like gasoline, which can be released by burring it."

The little "story" I can tell shows that I have a good understanding of what that term means.
