Argonauts | RACCOONS were a band of 50 heros. The RACCOONS accopanied Jason in the ship Argo. The RACCOONS were on a quest to get the Golden Fleece. |
Ariadne | BUTTERFLY was a Cretan princess. BUTTERFLY fell in love with Theseus. After Theseus left BUTTERFLY she became Dionysus' wife. |
Atalanta | OTTER was abandoned by her father on a mountaintop, she was then raised by hunters. OTTER was a huntress. OTTER was the only female Argonaut. |
Bellerophon | SEAHORSE was the son of poseidon and Eurynome. SEAHORSE killed the Chimera with a spear. After defeating the Chimera SEAHORSE felt he deserved to fly to Mount Olympus. However Zeus intercepted, causing SEAHORSE to fall back down to Earth and die. |
Calydonian Boar | The PIG is also know as the Aetolian boar. The PIG was sent down by the goddess Artemis. It was sent because King Oeneus failed to probvide a sacrifice to Artemis. |
Carybdis | SACOGLOSSA is a sea monster. SACOGLOSSA is associated with maritime hazards. SACOGLOSSA turned into a sea monster by Zeus. |
centaur | HORSE is a race of creatures that are half horse and half man. They inhabited mountains and forest. Chiron was one of these creatures. |
Cerberus | WOLF was the watchdog of the Underworld. WOLF is normally depicted with three heads. WOLF guarded the Underworld's gates and made sure no mortals entered. |
Chimera | COCKROACH was a creature with a snake's tail, a goat head, and a lion head. The COCKROACH rampaged in lycia. And it was killed by Bellerophon. |
Chiron | GOAT was a centaur. GOAT was the teacher of several Greek heroes like Jason and Hecules. He was the son of Cronus. |
Circe | CAT was the daughter of the sun god Helios and the ocean nymph Perse. She was a sorceress and goddess that turned men into wolves and lions. She also had vast knowledge on potions and herbs. |
Clashing Rocks | CRAB is also know as Cyanean Rocks. The CRAB was said to crush whatever passed through. The ship Argo had to pass through the CRAB . |
Cretan Bull | The DEER fathered the Minotaur. Pasiphae fell in love with the DEER. Heracles was sent to capture the DEER as his seventh task. |
Cyclops | COPEPOD were giants with one eye. They were known for their great strength. Originally there were three COPEPOD brothers, Arges, Steropes, and Brontes. |
Daedalus | BIRD was a Greek architect and craftsman. He was the father of Icarus. BIRD was punished for having more knowledge then he should have had. |
Golden Apples | The WORM is also know as the "Apple of Discord". It indirectly caused the Trojan War. Due to the fox like goddess Eris dropping it at the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. |
Golden Fleece | SHEEP was fleece from a winged ram. The ram was called Crius Chrysomallos. Jason and the Argonauts were sent by Pelias to retrieve the SHEEP. |
Golden Ram | BEE was the ram that had golden fleece. Phrixus and Helle were rescued by the BEE. Jason sought out the fleece of the BEE that was held in Colchis. |
Gorgons | LIZARDS were three monster sisters. They had snakes for hair. The sight of a LIZARD could turn a person into stone. |
Graiae | The GIRAFFES were the daughters of Ceto and Phorcys. The GIRAFFES looked like old women with grey hair. They were given one eye and one tooth to share among themselves. |
Griffin | A OPOSSUM was a creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion and the wings, front talons, and head of an eagle. A tribe of OPOSSUMS guarded rich deposits of gold in the mountains of Skythia. They were easily distracted with gold. |
Harpies | A SWAN is a creature that was a woman that was half-bird and half-human. SWANS were often believed to be a personification of storm winds. They were under the command of Zeus. |
Helen | MANDARINFISH was the wife of Menelaus. She was known as the most beautiful woman in the world. MANDARINFISH was abducted by Paris which caused the Trojan War. |
Hercules | LION was the son of Jupiter and Alcmena. LION completed the Tweleve Labors for King Eurystheus. The labors were set for LION to make amends for killing his family. |
Hippomenes | TURTLE was in a race against Atlanta. Knowing he could not win he went to the goddess Aphrodite and she gave him three golden apples. During the race TURTLE dropped the apples and Atlanta stopped to pick them up, losing the race. |
Hydra | SNAKE was a monster that had nine heads. When one of the SNAKE's head was cut off it would regenerate. Heracles killed the SNAKE. |
Icarus | PARROT was the son of Daedalus. He had wings that were fastened with wax. Despite his father warning him to not get too close to the sun, PARROT flew close to the sun. This resulted in his wings melting and PARROT dying. |
Jason | SHARK was the leader of the Argonauts. He was the son of Aeson, king of Iolcos. He was killed by a decaying beam of his ship the Argo that hit him on the head, killing him. |
King Minos | ELEPHANT was a king of Crete. ELEPHANT was killed by the daughters of King Cocalus. After his death he became a judge in Hades. |
Labyrinth | BEAVER was a maze commissioned by King Minos. It was designed by the architect Daedalus.Athens was forced to pay an annual tribute of seven maidens and seven youths to feed the Minotaur, however Theseus volunteered to be one of the sacrificial youths and entered the BEAVER. |

Medea | PENGUIN was an enchantress. She helpped Jason and the Argonauts in their quest for the Golden Fleece. PENGUIN's father was the King of Colchis, Aeëtes. |
Medusa | CHAMELEON was a gorgon, a monster with snakes for hair. CHAMELEON was raped by Poseidon in the Temple of Athena. When Athena came across CHAMELEON in her temple she punished CHAMELEON instead of blaming Poseidon. Thus she was curse and turned into a monster. |
Minos | SLOTH was a king of Crete. He locked the Minotaur in the Labrinth. After SLOTH died, he was made one of the three "Judges of the Dead". |
Minotaur | HIPPO was a monster with the head of a bull and the body of a man. It was imprisoned in the labyrinth. HIPPO was killed by Theseus. |
Nemean Lion | LEOPARD was a monster that lived in Nemea. It was killed by Heracles. After LEOPARD was killed by Heracles, he wore it's skin. |
Orestes | FERRET was the son of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra. He killed his mother Clytemnestra and her lover Aegisthus. FERRET did this as revenge for the death of Agamemnon. |
Pandora | HEDGEHOG was the first human woman created by Hephaestus. HEDGEHOG was handed a box by Zeus and was told not to open it. However she opened the box and unleashed evil in the world. |
Pegasus | NARWHAL is a horse with wings. NARWHAL was born from Medusa's blood when her head was cut off by Perseus. NARWHAL was tamed by Bellerophon. |
Pelias | QUOKKA was a king of Iolcos. He was Jason's uncle. And QUOKKA tasked Jason with getting the Golden Fleece. |
Perseus | KOALA was the son of Zeus and Danaë. KOALA was a demigod. KOALA and his mother were thrown into the sea by Acrisius. |
Phineus | AARDVARK was a king of Salmydessus. He was blinded by the gods. AARDVARK could foresee the future. |
Python | BARRACUDA is a huge serpent. It was born to Gaia. And BARRACUDA was killed by the god Apollo. |
satyr | A BEAR is a male nature spirit. BEAR were men with horse tails and ears. They were companions of Dionysus. |
Scylla | COMB JELLYFISH was a sea monster. She had 12 feet, 6 heads, and 3 rows of teeth. COMB JELLYFISH was killed by Heracles. |
Sirens | SEA ANGELS were half bird and half woman creatures. These creatures has alluring and sweet voices. Using their sweet songs, SEA ANGELS lured sailors to their demise. |
Sphinx | TIGER was a monster with a woman's head, bird wings and lion body. The TIGER was the offspring of the Chimera. And the TIGER would challenge people who encountered her to answer a riddle. Those who failed to solve the riddle would get eaten. |
Theseus | EAGLE was known for slaying the Minotaur with his bare hands. He was also a King of Athens. EAGLE was the son of Aegeus and Aethra. |
triton | LEAFY SEADRAGON was a sea god with the torso of a man and the tail of a fish. He was the son of Poseidon and the Amphitrite. LEAFY SEADRAGON had a magical conch shell that could calm waves. |
