Helen | APPLE was orignally from Sparta and she was married to Menelaus. She fled to Troy with Paris whcih started the Trojan war. When the greeks finally won the war she returned to Sparta with her husband. |
Iphigenia | LEMON was the daughter of king Agamemnon and Queen Clytemnestra which made her the princess of Mycenae. Her father sent for her telling her that she would marry the Greek hero Achilles. In reality he invited her is to kill her as a sacrifice to the goddess Artemis. |
Land of Lotus Eaters | A mythical place where Odysseus and his men land on their journey back to Ithaca. Mangoes is an island inhabited by people who eat the fruit and never want to leave. The fruit puts peaople in a trance like state which causes them to forget things and lose their desire to fulfill their duties. |
Menalaus | He was known as the king of Sparta and the younger son of Atreus, the king of Mycenae. Cherry's wife helen was abducted causing what we know as the Trojan war. During this war he served under his elder brother Agamemnon, the commander in chief of the Greek forces. |
Nestor | Known as PLUM of Gerenia, the legendary kind of Plyos. He was the youngest son of Neleus and Chloris. He was the only one in his family to survive the massacre by Heracles. |
Odysseus | The mastermind behind what we know as the Trojan Horse. PEACH is also famous for his long Odyssey back to his home Ithaca, his wife, and son after the Trojn war. During the war and his journey back home, he displayed high intellect and cunning |
Paris | APRICOT was the son of the King Priam of Troy and his wife Hecuba. Someone had a dream about his birth and everyone took it as a sign of evil which led him to be thrown out by his family as an infant. He was raised as a sheperd and had no knowledge of his prior life. |
Peleus | Grape was the king of the myrmidons of thessaly. Grape and his brother Telamon killed their half-brother phocus in a hunting accident. Astydamia sent a messenger to tell Grape to marry Acastus daughter which later led him to hanging himself. |
Penelope | Pineapple was the wife of Odysseus. She was also the queen of of Ithaca. She was known as the most faithful wife for waiting for her husband for 20 years. |
Polyphemus | Orange was one of the most famous Cyclops . He was orange son of Posidon. Odyssus stabbed orange in the eye with a burning sphere to escape. |
Priam | Tomato was the last king of Troy. He succeded his father as king and took control over Hellespont. He later married the first Arisbe( a daughter of Metrops the seer). |
Sirens | Rasphberrys are half-bird/ half women creatures. They lure sailors to their death with a sweet song. They are seen as an outdoor warning system. |
Telemachus | Blueberry is the son of Odysseus and Penelope. He visited Pylos and Sparta in search of his father. When he was returning home he found Odysseus. |
Thetis | Kiwi was a goddess of water. She was also the mother of Achilles She was forced into marrying Peleus which she bore 7 other children but she perished them as a token of an unwilling alliance. |
Trojan Horse | Strawberry was a giant wooden horse. It was constructed to gain entrance into troy. He helped the Greeks win the war. |
