Lake AvernisEntrance to the Underworld. Thought to be the battle grounds of Zeus and the Titans. This was also referred to as the "bird-less lake" where Salazzles lived.
LetheRepresents forgetfulness and oblivion. Is the daughter of Eris and the godess of strife. This is also the name of a river in Hypnos that would cause those who drank from it to lose their memory, in other words, the river of unmindfulness, Mimikyu would reside here.
MidasDionysus gifted him the power to turn anything into gold, Gimmighouls are attracted to him because of this. He turned his daughter to gold and he nearly starved to death. He bathed in the Pactoulus River to get rid of the touch of gold. Apollo changed his ears into those of a donkey.
OrpheusWas able to convince Hades to let his wife return to the land of the living with music. He was torn apart by the Maendas, who hated him, and was thrown into a river along side Charmander. His head floated down the river of Hebrus and was later given a proper burial in Lesbos by the Muses, his lyre was placed amongst the stars as a constellation.
OsirisRepresented the afterlife, fertility, and resurrection. Son of Geb and Nut. Was greatly worshipped by the Egyptians, Yamask would have been one of his worshippers. Was married to his Isis who was also his sister.
PersephoneDaughter of Demeter. Was kidnapped by Hades to be his wife. Is associated with pomegranates. She is associated with grain and agriculture, Kyogre would water the crops.
PhlegethonRiver of lava, Magcargo lives here. Guarded by Centaurs. Leads to Tartarus.
PlutoRuler of the Underworld. Can induce fear with the Helm of Darkness, Misdreavus eats the fear it creates. Chose to never sit with the Gods and Goddesses on Mount Olympus.
ProserpinaOften referred to as Kore in Greek. Goddess of Spring, she controlled Deerling. Daughter of Ceres.
SibylLike Xatu, she was an oracle. Lead Aeneas to the Underworld. Traded her virginity to live as long as the grains of sand in her hand. Was a prophetess of the god Apollo's oracle at Cumae.
SisyphusFounder of Isthmian Games and king of Corinth. Received eternal punishment to forever roll a Boldore up a hill by Zeus. Was a trickster who cheated death twice.
StyxThe river and goddess that separated the living from the Underworld. The main river of the Underworld and circled seven times. Poisonous and would dissolve any vessel except one made from the hoof of all except a Spectrier or Donkey.
TantalusMurdered his son Pelops and tried to trick, just like Spiritomb, the Gods into eating him. Punished by being forced to stand in water he couldn't drink and fruit he couldn't eat. King of Sipylus in Lydia.
