Course Description for Certified Nurse Aide
This program prepares students to provide direct patient care in health care facilities, under the supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Classroom and clinical instruction are provided. Students will receive a certificate of completion when requirements for the course are met. Licensing as a Certified Nurse Aide is available upon completion of the program and success on the Virginia State Board of Nursing Exam.

Course Description for Pharmacy Technician
This program prepares students for job entry as a pharmacy technician or can be used as a springboard for further education in the pharmacy field. Instructional areas include assisting the pharmacist in serving patients, maintaining medication and inventory control systems, and participating in the administration and management of pharmacy practice.The coursework will fulfill the requirements of the Board of Pharmacy and prepare the student to take the state examination administered by the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy.
