Go back to where you came from!” - I marked this as D because clearly the girls being confronted by such explicit racism just because of their immigrant status reveals the struggles that they were going to encounter in America. Specifically, Sandi notes “that ugly word that kids at school sometimes used,” which suggests that they’re confronted by their “negative aspects” of their origins constantly in everyday life in America, thereby revealing a deep discomfort on the girls part.
