ANNOUNCEMENTS
12/28 - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope you're having a blessed Christmas Season and a fun and restful winter break. For opportunities to earn some extra credit, you can do: (a) a Top Ten list of what to know (click here for an example) and (b) a list of questions that can be used as study questions for the tests. We have studied 4 units thus far: (1) Ecology, (2) Biochemistry, (3) Cell Structure and Transport, and (4) Cellular Energetics. You can chose to do one or all 4 topics. Obviously, these need to be your own work, carefully and thoughtfully done. Keep in mind that the example given is only a segment of the unit. Your top ten lists can certainly be longer and more detailed. Once completed, you can send them to me as Word attachments. I will let you know soon how exactly these extra points will figure into your final grade.
9/12 - If you haven't paid $10 for your lab manual, please do so as soon as possible. Thanks!
In an effort to minimize paper usage, I will no longer provide copies of reading guides (RGs). You can simply download the assigned reading guides and answer the questions -- in complete sentences -- in your notebook. (You do NOT have to re-write the questions). I will spot-check your reading guides for completion and/or give a short (sometimes open-note) reading quiz over the assigned reading.
