I have a double major degree in Mathematics and Physics from Houston Baptist University and a Masters in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) from Virginia Tech. My favorite classes at Virginia Tech were the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Education courses. I believe it is essential that more American students be exposed to STEM in an interesting and exciting environment and feel that physics provides an excellent opportunity for this. I also founded and managed a non-profit educational community theater in the Houston, Texas area for eleven years.
