Liaison with Stops (p, b, t, d, k, g)

Stops at the end of an English word are often not "released", meaning we put our lips and tongues into position to make p, b, t, d, k, or g; but we don't actually pronounce it. If the next word begins with a vowel, then the end-stop may sound like the beginning of the next word.
