Hard and Soft C and G

Identify the sound of the c or g in each word. Remember, hard c sounds like k (can); soft c sounds like s (city); hard g sounds like g (go); soft g sounds like j (gym). When an e, i, or y follows the letter c or g, it is usually soft. Any other letter after c or g usually makes the c or g hard.
