Telling time in Spanish

To tell the time in Spanish we use "Son las. . ." It is . . . followed by the hour and minutes (using numbers) For example, it is 2:20 - son las dos y veinte. When it is one o'clock we use the singular form of SER - es la una. (that is the only time we use Es la)
