The verb SER to ask and answer the question "What time is it?" in Spanish

When asking and answering the question "What time is it?" --> ¿Qué hora es?, we use two of the conjugations of the verb SER (es and son):

es la --> 1 (singular)
son las --> 2-12 (plural)
