4th Grade Reading Comprehension (Set 4) - Guest

_____We had a guest in our classroom today. His name is Mr. Brown, and he works at the zoo. His job is to feed and take care of the baby animals. He has a special building where the babies are kept. Mr. Brown mixes fruits, vegetables, grains, and special meats for the babies.
_____Mr. Brown brought three animals to our class. The first one was a large lizard called an iguana. The second was a little hedgehog that rolled into a ball and hid from us. I think the last animal was the best of all. It was a peacock! Mr. Brown let it walk around our room, and it spread those beautiful feathers so we could see them! It was fun and interesting to hear Mr. Brown tell us all about his job and the animals he brought. I think I might like to work at the zoo when I grow up.
