4th Grade Reading Comprehension (Set 6) - Ryan

_____Ryan did not have time for breakfast this morning. He got up late and had to rush to catch the school bus. His teacher gave them a lot of math to do, and Ryan was not finished by lunchtime. He discovered that he had not grabbed his lunch bag from the refrigerator that morning, so he had nothing to eat. Ryan decided to stay in the classroom and finish his math instead of going to watch the other kids eat.
_____About two o’clock, Ryan’s stomach mad a loud rumbling noise. The boys near him laughed when they heard it. Ryan’s face turned red. The rumbles continued all afternoon.
_____As soon as Ryan got home he got his lunch bag and began to eat. He was as hungry as a bear, and his stomach sure sounded like one!
