Agree or Disagree
Deep-sea divers usually get along with most of the sea creatures they meet. If they don't, it could be disastrous. Subjects and verbs in clauses need to get along, too. If they disagree, sentences will sound strange or be confusing. The subject and verb of any clause must agree in number. If a subject is singular, the verb must be singular. Example: The lobster's claw (sing.) is (sing.) dangerous. If a subject is plural, the verb must be plural. Example: Divers (plural) dress (plural) carefully. Do these subjects and verbs get along? Agree or Disagree? If you disagree think of what you should use to make the sentence correct.
