Once in the Ozark Mountains, a boy named Billy wants dogs; Coon Hounds to be precise, but his Ma and Papa don’t have the money. So, he goes on a goose chase to earn the money to get them. Then, he goes on many adventures with his new dogs- Old Dan and Little Ann. However, there are difficulties along the way, like the mountain lion.
