    Good reader. I enjoy reading for pleasure and for learning.
    OK reader. I occasionally read for pleasure but usually prefer getting information some other way.
    A little shakey on the reading. I have difficulty understanding what I read and don't read for pleasure.


  1. If you picked up a recipe book, or a service (repair) manual, or instructions for assembling something like a bicycle and read the instructions, describe your results.
    I can follow printed instruction sequentially and have a successful outcome.
    It would be about 50/50 that I could follow the instructions and have success.
    Anything more complicated than the instructions on a frozen pizza has me whipped.

    I have a regular Monday through Friday routine and sleep in on the weekends.
    I get up at a regular time Monday through Friday, but my bed time varies greatly, largely due to school related activities.

    I need a quiet place where I will be undisturbed.

    Math is one of my strongest subjects. I can do calculations in my head. I can make accurate estimations of complext problems. Reading graphs and date tables is meaningful to me.
    Math is a sometimes a challenge but I can usually grind out an answer. I depend on a calculator not just for a time saver, but because my computation skills are not altogether dependable.
    I am the poster child for math anxiety. I try to avoid mathematics if possible.
