About this Quia Page

This site will be your source for everything you need to know about your Spanish II class, except for grades, which you’ll find at the MyCCS site.

If you lose something, you can download it below; if you’re absent, you are expected to have checked this site and know what we did in class before you return from your absence. You’ll find advice to help you to make the homework easier, links to check out that relate what we’re learning to the real-world, and downloadable audio from some classes so you can re-listen, or stay caught up during an absence.

There is also a Quia matching/flash card activity below entitled “Avancemos 2, 3.1 (p. 163)” if you prefer to use Quia to get familiar with the words. Of course, if you want, you can make flash cards or just carry around the folded sheet. 3.    “Verbs that require an object 3 (with preterite)” in Conjuguemos. Notice that some of the verbs are present, and others are past. You have to pay attention to past or present of the English verb. Consult your Past Tense Sheet (the song) for help with the preterite forms.

4.    You’ve already had the chance to get credit for this, but it will definitely help you prepare for the test: “Unit 1-1 (p. 55)” in Conjuguemos. To make sure you’re ready, do it until you can score in the 90s without your materials.

5.    Countries and Capitals in Quia below.
