HOME READING PROGRAM (HRP)
The best way to become a better reader is to read. In an attempt to get students to read and think about what they are reading, I assign reading homework to do every night. On the first day of class I will begin to explain my system for completing the HRP and I will be sure to discuss it at Back to School Night with all the parents. I ask that parents sign the form nightly telling me that your child either read aloud or silently for the amount of minutes assigned for the night.

We have started using Mathletics as a class. Students are usually given assignments twice a week, but they can play on it any night they want!

Mrs. V introduced us to DiscoveryEducation.com . It looks like a great website to have fun and practice science. To use our class account, use the user name SLspartan4 and password magnet.
SOME WEBSITES THAT I RECOMMEND AND USE IN CLASS
MathPlayground
Multiplication Practice
Pronoun Practice
Thanks for checking in,
