Christmas in the Library was a huge success! We had so much fun!
Explorer Research Paper: this week we will be writing rough drafts and then Final copy due on Friday. The Primary source can be a picture, map or other artifact.
Music Program will be Wednesday, December 9 at 7:00. All Students must meet in their class rooms first at 6:30. We will then walk over to the Community Center as a class at 6:45. Attire for performance is Christmas Sunday Best. The students have really been working hard on their recorder piece. I hope you all can attend!
We began the Classrooms Care program from Scholastic Book Club where Scholastic will donate 1,000,000 books to students in need. I have asked each student to read 10 literature book (no graphic novels or comic books and must contain more than 4 chapters) at home by Dec. 16. Complete the reading log and turn it in by Dec. 16. This should be treated as part of Homework nightly. Thank you for your help and encouragement in this mini "service project"!
Thank you for donating to the Pre K annual "Gift of Reading" book drive. They collected over 2,000 books. Great job everyone!
