-Your group assignments are posted on the front board....these assigned groups will be the people that you check-in with during the week
4. Day #1: Pegboard Expectations
-Read thru the packet on your own and complete the following entry into your Engineering Notebook: (Directions are also posted on the front board!!!)
5. Once you have read thru the Pegboard Expectations.......
A. Fill in the necessary Table of Contents info: Pages, Title, and Date
B. Now, turn to the correct page and complete the following:
-Page number, Title, and Define the Problem
-Once the problem is defined, create a "THUMBNAIL SKETCH - 2D" of each of the required components of the Pegboard.....PLEASE BE SURE TO ANNOTATE THE DIMENSIONS IN YOUR SKETCHES!!!!
6. ASSIGNMENT: Please have your Engineering notebook ready to share with your group tomorrow!!!! This will be recorded as a grade!!!
Tuesday, January 5th
SWBAT....share their "Pegboard Toy" engineering notebook entries and begin constructing
1. Expectations.....teacher lead
-Inventor Projects
2. Team Assignments.....found on the front board
-the circled numbers are designated as the team captain
-only the team captain should record on the team sheet
-NO MARKS SHOULD BE CHANGED BY A CAPTAIN....ONLY THE INSTRUCTOR CAN DO SO
3. You are only allowed to begin on Inventor if you have Entry #1 complete
4. Make sure you are saving correctly!!
Wednesday, January 6th
SWBAT....work with their assigned teams to reproduce the Pegboard Toy
1. Please continue to turn in late work....10 days left in the quarter
2. Pegboard Toy expectations....MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CREATED A PEGBOARD PROJECT PATHWAY IN INVENTOR!!!!
3. Worktime.....If you need some assistance with any dimensions, please refer to my engineering notebook!!!

Thursday, January 7th
SWBAT....finish all their "ipt" files and begin their "iam" files
1. Today's expectations....MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON PACE TO FINISH BY THE END OF CLASS TOMORROW
-you should have your round peg, square peg, leg, and pegboard finished
-Now you should be in your assembly file
-Once this is completed, start to complete your mallet head and handle
**I HAVE CREATED AN INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO TO HELP GUIDE YOU THRU SOME OF THESE NEW SKILLS**
-Finally, assembly the mallet head and handle IN THE SAME ASSEMBLY FILE THAT YOU USED FOR THE PEGBOARD
-At this point you are finished; however, ADD SOME DECALS TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL "IPT" FILES.....I HAVE CREATED A DECAL VIDEO FOR HOW TO WRAP AROUND A CURVED SURFACE!!!!
Friday, January 8th

SWBAT....integrate their final "iam" file into an "ipn" file in inventor
Today's Expectations: IDEALLY THIS IS WHAT SHOULD BE DONE TODAY
1. Finish part files for the mallet head and handle
2. All your individual parts should be placed into your assembly file
3. ANY DECALS AND COLORS SHOULD BE CHANGED IN THEIR CORRESPONDING "ipt" FILE....SAVE AND ALL CHANGES SHOULD OCCUR AUTOMATICALLY IN THE "iam" FILE
4. Finally, pick-up the Pegboard Presentation packet and complete
5. EVERYONE CAN PRINT ON MONDAY
Monday, January 11th
SWBAT...create their "ipn - presentation file" from their final pegboard assembly
IF YOU FINISH THE "ipn - presentation" file, MAKE SURE ALL NECESSARY FILES ARE CENTRALLY LOCATED LIKE ILLUSTRATED IN THE FOLLOWING IMAGE

1. Today's expectations....discuss as a group....AFTER TODAY, ALL WORK ON THE PEGBOARD MUST BE COMPLETED ON YOUR OWN TIME....THIS IS THE LAST GRADE FOR THE 2ND QUARTER!!!
A. All assembly files should be completed and you should begin the "ipn" presentation file
-please watch the 2 minute presentation video found in my teachers folder
B. Create your final product to be displayed in the hallway....once done please print
-Use the example I provided you with today......PEGBOARD TOY - PRINTED EXAMPLE
C. Once printed to the Oki Printer, see me for displaying directions
ASSIGNMENT: Please look thur the "Playground" orthographic drawings and create the following entry into your engineering notebook this evening
1. Fill in your Table of Contents
2. Create a thumbnail sketch of each of the required components - 14 pieces. Also annotate the dimensions for each part, so that you can share with your NEW GROUP tomorrow

C. The "Tri-Platform" and "Monkey Bar Assembly" can be added
**THE TRI-PLATFORM CAN BE TRICKY, SO BE CREATIVE IN HOW YOU ASSEMBLE**
D. Next, place the "Tunnel Slide" into the assembly and constrain
E. Carefully, place the "Spiral Slide" into the assembly and constrain
F. Finally, place and constrain your "Crayon Poles"
