Mid Term:
- The ‘test’ will require you to use various documents or primary sources and analyse or evaluate some aspect of the topic. You need, therefore, to be familiar with the topic and be able to deal with and understand the questions that they are given.
- You will have one block to complete the exercise.
- You will be working with document excerpts and the prompts will be along the lines of the following (this isn’t all of them) but some to give them a bit of an idea and, for those who want to get prepared, a chance to think through how they could approach the questions. The draft questions are:
- Which document presents a primary source of evidence about Nazism? Why? Support your answer.
- Which of the documents contains a contradiction within the Nazi Party’s political program? Explain your answer.
- What do the documents suggest about the Nazi Party?

- Answer the questions about which you are certain and use resources to gain the understanding that you need to answer the others. Don't try to memorize minutiae.
- Have any resources, that you may need, available when you take the quiz.
- There is ample time to complete the quizzes. You are not under time pressure.

Mon. Feb. 6th |
Note: - When you are required to complete a quiz by a specific date, this means that it needs to be completed by 3 am on the indicated date.
- If a quiz is completed late, you will need to email me a screen shot of the results page from the Student Zone on the Quia site. There will normally be a penalty for competing an online quiz late to recognize the additional time that you had for preparation, the need to reopen the marking system to accommodate your choice, and to avoid the encouragement of sloppy behaviour.
- The primary purpose of this quiz is to provide an opportunity for you to test your Username and Password.
- Check the sheet on online quiz instructions if you are unsure how to access the quiz. Email me if you are stuck.
- This is the only online quiz that will be listed in the assignment section. It is your responsibility to check regularly for open quizzes and due dates.
- The questions in this quiz involve material that we have not covered but for which you will be responsible. You should learn the answers to all of questions with which you are unfamiliar.
Note:- Your results for this quiz (in addition to your results if you complete a quiz late in the future) need to be emailed to me in the form of a screen shot of your results page from the Student Zone on the Quia site.
- To send a screen shot that contains the correct information for your result on this quiz go to Practice Quiz and Screenshot.
