Directions:
1. On a blank Google document, write a one-page story that tells the story of a lost island that we never read about in The Odyssey. You make up the island’s description and the monster(s) and/or god(s) present.
2. Hint as to what island (or story) we have just left behind.
3. Develop a conflict right away (In Medias Res).
4. Keep Odysseus's personality/physical traits consistent with Homer's.
5. Focus on imagery and show-don't tell writing style.
6. The point of view should be first person.
7. (Optional) Under your story, you can post an image of your island.
