P-BIT expectations: a P-BIT is a "Problem-Based Instructional Task" that is designed to encourage students to be creative problem solvers. The main goal in P-BITS is for students to apply their current knowledge to a real-life problem. Communication is of utmost importance, so showing of math work and good explanations are essential to earn a good score.
