About me |
This is my fourth year as Art teacher at Saint Theresa. I teach all students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students come to art once a week, kindergarten for 30 minutes and approximately 40 minutes for grades 1-8. There is an art club available for interested junior high students which meets after school. I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful Christian community here at St. Theresa!
I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a Minor in Studio Art. I spent two years teaching second grade at Christ Lutheran School, then taught art for one year at Madison Park Middle School before coming to St. Theresa.
My husband, Bob, and I have three sons, John, Bill, & Daniel. John and Bill graduated from Brophy in 2001 and 2004, and Danny graduated in May 2010 and will be attending Barretts Honor program at ASU. John graduated in May from ASU Law School and will be moving to Portland, Oregon in July. Bill just finished his first year teaching at Xavier, a new Jesuit high school in Palm Desert, California. He is the JV basketball coach and assists with the golf program.
Our family likes playing golf together, especially at Munds Park where we have a cabin. I like to make art, read, hike, and ski. I also like to travel and visit art museums, and visit family in my home state of New Hampshire.
