The Kreb's Cycle
In the Kreb's cycle, acetyl CoA reacts with oxaloacetic acid to
form citric acid. For this reason, the Kreb's cycle is sometimes
referred to as the citric acid cycle. On the next page, you will
see an animation of the Kreb's cycle. See if you can figure out
why it is called a cycle and answer question 31 before going on
to page 3.
