• Click on the link Resources and then on the link to the Discover Canada Study Guide and learn the material in the Guide. This is the basis of the contest questions.
• Click on the link to Educational Resources and use the Lesson Plans and Worksheets to test your knowledge. The Answer Keys provided by the Challenge - more or less complete - will be on the back wall in the classroom in January.
• Test yourself using the online quizzes below. Pay particular attention to Citizenship Quiz #4.
• Take the test online (use the Class Code provided to you to access the quiz) once you are fully prepared.

  Your deadline for completing the test is Friday, January 20th.

• Complete the inline quizzes below (BB, I3 and M)
• Review your class notes
• Review the material in your TB and WB
• Review outside material as appropriate

There may be a few Government questions included in the quiz.

You will find many questions that are repeated. You should be able to move through this material quickly and easily.

1. When you are required to complete a quiz by a specific date, this means that it needs to be completed by 3 am on the indicated date.
2. For this quiz only you need to email me a screen shot of your Results Page. See the Classroom Handout on this requirement or follow the link to Practice Quiz Screenshot.
   • If a quiz is completed late, you will need to email me a screen shot of the results page from the Student Zone on the Quia site.
   • There will normally be a 5 mark or 10% penalty for competing an online quiz late to recognize the additional time that you had for preparation, the need to reopen the marking system to accommodate your choice, and to avoid the encouragement of sloppy behaviour.
   • You cannot receive an 'A' mark on a quiz that is completed late.
The primary purpose of this FIRST quiz is to provide an opportunity for you to test your Username and Password.
3. The questions on this quiz are based on information that you will need to know as the course progresses.
4. At this time, you only need to obtain one mark (one correct answer) to receive full marks for the quiz.
5. Check the sheet on online quiz instructions if you are unsure how to access the quiz. Email me if you are stuck.
6. Generally, online quizzes will not be listed in the assignment section. It is your responsibility to check regularly for open quizzes and due dates.
7. The questions in this quiz involve material that we have not covered but for which you will be responsible. You should learn the answers to all of questions with which you are unfamiliar.
Note:YOUR RESULTS FOR THIS QUIZ ONLY (in addition to your results if you complete a quiz late in the future) are the ONLY results that need to be emailed to me in the form of a screen shot of your results page (NOT your quiz answer page) from the Student Zone on the Quia site.
