Welcome To Honors Chemistry with Mrs. Hibler for Fall 2007.
Here you will find information about the course including a year long syllabus, unit objective sheets for each unit, daily homework assigments, and a
parent letter.
In order to be successful in chemistry, it is critical that students attend class daily and remain focused on chemistry for the entire class period. In addition, students need to do the homework every night in order to be prepared for class the following day.
Help is available during the first half of SmartLunch on Thursday and Friday. Students, please stop by room 1610 with any questions and I will be happy to help you.
Unit 1: Measurement and Matter
This unit will move very quickly because much of the material should be review. Please see the measurement unit objective sheet the matter unit objectives sheet for the list of topics we will cover. Please notice that the objective sheets also list the pages from your textbook that correspond to each topic as well as additional problems from the text. I do have the answers to these problems and will be glad to share them with you if you have done the problems. Here is the powerpoint that covers much of
measurement
