Welcome to A Level Mathematics! This online course is designed to prepare you for exam 9709 Probability and Statistics 1. The course textbook is Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics: Probability and Statistics 1 (CUP). The lesson plans below reference the recommended questions to complete for each section of the textbook, linked to relevant examples from the text.

The course lesson plans are designed for students who have completed IGCSE 0580 Mathematics and IGCSE 0606 Additional Mathematics. If you have not completed those courses, review IGCSE 0580 topic 8 Probability and topic 9 Statistics, and IGCSE 0606 topic 11 Permutations and combinations.

If you are an independent student, you can use the lesson plans as a study guide; I have identified practice questions for each section, matched to relevant textbook examples. Each lesson plan contains four lessons, estimated time one hour per lesson.
