I have great news! All of your names have been printed in the program, so if you still would like to go, all you need to do is to purchase your cap and gown from the RTC bookstore. I believe that ASG has a $5 coupon for them, so the cost is around $25. I really recommend that you all participate. It is a wonderful ceremony, and great to take part in. It's held at the ShoWare Center in Kent, and Mrs. Thurston and I will be there to walk with you and take pictures.

You have all accomplished something, and your friends and family can come and see you participate in the ceremony. What a great example for your children and other family members, as well.

Can you believe that we are almost through with the theory portion of this program, just over a week to go!
We have Progress Test 4 on Thursday over Chapters 13-16.
We have a lot due during week 5, I recommend reading up NOW and getting as much done as possible. We are going to have to get through Chapters 17-20 and 21-23(including workbooks and quizzes), turn resume Draft #2, and Progress Test 5 and 6, Instrument Assembly and Instrument ID tests.

Week 4

Can you believe we are already in Week 4?

This week we have Progress Test #3 on Thursday as usual, and the Instrument Identification Pre-Test.

The last week of class (May 13-16)is going to be very busy with testing -- the Last two Progress Tests, Instrumentation Identification Test, and the Instrument Set Assembly Test. I encourage you to get a head start by reading as much as you can in advance.

We are almost done with week 3! Progress Test first thing on Thursday, and then we will finish CPR/First Aid.

Remember Resume Draft #1 or Resume Worksheet is due on Thursday. If you want my feedback on your resume, email it to me(Samantha), and I will edit it and give you my comments.

As usual, Chapters 9-12 in QUIA are due by Sunday @ midnight and Workbook Chapters 9-12 are due at the beginning of class on Monday. If you have any workbook pages that you didn't due from Chapters 1-8, if you do them, I will give you partial credit. 5 points per chapter is MUCH better than 0 points! Do your workbook, it will help you learn the materiall.

Quia Chapters 5-8 are back up so that you can use them to study for the test.

Week 2

Are you having trouble with the material? Come to tutoring at 2:45, or you can also check out the Learning Resource Center for one-on-one help. Monday-Thursday 12-6 in C102

HIPPA Skits are on Wednesday, please bring 1 copy of your script to turn in and the paper with the assignment on it (grading rubric on the back). CPR Worksheets are also due, as well as the Anatomy worksheets.
Thursday- Progress Test 1. How are you going to study? Some ideas:
*Re-read the sections in the book that you highlighted
*Look at your notes
*Look at the powerpoints that are posted below
*Do the chapter review quizzes again and the Progress Tests in the packet that came with your book
*Do the Quizzes on Quia again.
*Do the games and supplementary activities on Quia
*Come to tutoring at 2:45

Rosemary Thurston should be back on Monday, and we will start talking about Chapters 1-4. Please have them read by Monday, and your QUIA Chapter Review quizzes for Units 1-4 are due by Sunday at midnight, and your workbook pages for Units 1-4 is due on Monday at the beginning of class.

You will have your first Progress Test towards the end of the week, and CPR/First Aid will be on Thursday.

I am attaching the homework for your CPR/FIRST Aid, which will be due on Thursday.
